Volksbank Karlsruhe

Striking, environmentally sound urban development

With its main administrative office, Volksbank Karlsruhe is making its mark in a prime location. The building, with its impressive architecture over 11,000 square meters is symbol for transparency, workplace excellence and sustainability for customers and employees. The building’s interior impresses through modern elegance paired with high quality. The creative and inspiring atmosphere has a positive impact in the consulting areas as well as the workplaces, of which there are approx. 300. The work areas are located along the north facade, which has a pleated appearance. Lounges in the three atriums invite you to communicate. These atriums also supply air heated by the sun to a heat recovery system. Heat from the earth produces heating and cooling via 75 geothermal tubes, to ensure a comfortable environment. The south facade, with its photovoltaic elements, looks sleek and decorative.
