Bottrop Miner’s Association Hospital

Project: A new 4,600-square-meter building to be built directly next door to the existing miner’s association hospital. The new building will be connected to the existing hospital via a bridge and will contain treatment rooms for radiation therapy as well as a hotel-like comfort ward featuring additional services for up to 50 patients. The building’s tumor center will be outfitted with state-of-the-art technology, including the latest generation of linear accelerators for radiation therapy and an “orthovoltage” device for pain therapy.
